Motivation Comes Early

Well it seems as if some people are looking at this thing since i received some comments, therefore I will continue to keep this train rolling. This last week was a long one. I am beginning to put some names to faces instead of "hey man" in the Twins organization. The past week I have been doing a lot of long toss and some bullpen sessions with Kyle Waldrop. I have to say he goes about his work everyday with great intensity(my kinda guy). He has been very patient with my questions about getting to know the system and what the Twins are really looking for out of their pitchers. I have been trying to push myself as much as possible as camp date seems to creep closer. One thing that really caught my eye this week was the Sound FX of the superbowl. With that came maybe one of the most motivational things that I have seen this year. Drew Brees holding his little boy in the middle of the field with tears in his eyes. I thought to myself that must be the greatest feeling in the world. I plan on putting an image of that in my locker and making sure that I am working toward having this kind of heartfelt joy one day. That means when I am tired all I should have to do is have that image flash in my brain. Hey whatever it takes for me to get it done right. PS the weather is starting to have a florida feel to it. Stoked! WHO DAT!!

  1. I'm sure many people will be interested to hear about your interactions with guys during camp. Us fans usually only get to hear about what goes on behind the scenes from reporters, and often they're more concerned with the major leaguers.

Just post 2+ times a week and I'm sure you'll have plenty of people reading this :-)

  2. Chris, I forgot you've been with the Sox in Louisiana. And now you're blogging to painfully heartbroken Minnesota readers still upset over Favre/Peterson turnovers. Ugh. WHO DAT is like a dagger in my heart...

  3. HAHA...They forgot to take their cough medicine before the game. And Farve said it himself that he is a Saints fan. He was just throwing that thing out there for us to get it. WHO DAT!!
